Shooters who pick up a 6mm ARC AR pistol like the Faxon Pro are usually chasing flatter trajectories and heavier bullet options than a typical carbine caliber offers in a similar-size gun. Owners of Faxon barrels in general tend to praise fit and finish, and a nitride coating is well liked for standing up to rust better than a plain finish over time.

As a pistol-length AR build, the Pro trades some shootability for a shorter, more maneuverable package. Some owners find the brace setup takes adjustment before groups tighten up, while others like having a lighter, more compact rig for truck or home-defense duty. The M-LOK handguard and full-length rail make it easy to add a light or optic without extra parts.

On the trigger and overall build, a match-grade trigger is one of the first things reviewers of this class of pistol call out as a step up from a stock AR trigger. 6mm ARC ammunition and magazines can be less common on shelves than more mainstream chamberings, so some buyers factor that into the value question, but AR-15 parts compatibility keeps most other accessories easy to source.
