Owners of the G43X tend to appreciate its balance between a slim profile and a full-grip feel compared to the G43. The 10-round capacity is seen as a reasonable carry trade-off, though some would prefer higher-capacity flush options.

The Bayou Green Cerakote variant attracts buyers looking for a distinctive finish without sacrificing practical corrosion resistance. The serrated steel slide gets praise for a confident grip during press-checks, though a few note the added weight compared to a standard slide.

Trigger feel on the G43X is standard Glock and splits the community as usual. Fans of the platform call it predictable; detractors find the reset mushy. Aftermarket support is strong, which most owners consider one of the platform's genuine strengths.
