Shooters who pick up a .22 LR platform rifle like the DMK22C usually like it for cheap, low-recoil range time. Reliability with rimfire ammo can be inconsistent from lot to lot, so owners often try a few brands of .22 LR before settling on one that cycles the action without complaint; when it does run well, feedback on the design itself tends to be positive.

Ergonomics get good marks. An adjustable stock lets shooters of different statures dial in fit, and an M-LOK handguard makes it easy to mount a light or foregrip without extra rail hardware. The larger magazine capacity is appreciated by owners who want to spend more time shooting and less time reloading during a range session.

On value, a rimfire rifle like the DMK22C is often bought as a trainer or a plinker that keeps ammo costs down. Some owners compare it favorably to more expensive centerfire options for teaching new shooters the basics, while others note that rimfire-specific spare parts and magazines are a narrower market than for more common platforms.
