Savage's AccuTrigger and AccuStock system have a long track record, and owners of the 110 UltraLite Predator generally say the adjustable comb and length-of-pull make it easy to get a consistent cheek weld across different shooters. The carbon fiber barrel keeps the rifle noticeably lighter than a steel-barreled 110, which hunters carrying it long distances tend to appreciate.

Some owners note that very light barrel profiles can walk point of impact as the barrel heats up during a long string of shots, so they treat it as a hunting rifle rather than a bench gun. The skeletonized bolt handle and Arca rail forend are popular with shooters who already use Arca-compatible bipods and rests, though a few mention the M-Lok panels leave limited real estate once a bipod and sling mount are both attached.

Feeding from AICS-pattern magazines is seen as a practical plus since compatible magazines are widely available. Buyers comparing it to other lightweight bolt guns in Savage's lineup generally view the UltraLite Predator's price as reasonable for a factory carbon fiber barrel and AccuTrigger combination.
