The user-adjustable AccuTrigger is the standout mechanical feature. You can set pull weight to your preference, which helps with consistency across a range of shooting conditions. The 3-9x40 scope ships already included, so there's no need to budget for glass separately before heading out. The receiver is drilled and tapped for additional optic mounting, and integral swivel studs are ready for a sling or bipod.
The gray synthetic stock handles weather and rough field conditions without issue. The left-hand configuration is built for southpaw shooters, with the bolt and safety positioned correctly for right-to-left operation.
I think the bolt issue has been resolved.
These right here, they are the cheapest, the most untrustworthy rings ever, right?
What I would suggest is if you don't want to go with this and go with something more expensive, Savage has great rifles.
I trust my crossbow more than I trust this rifle. And I trust my AR-15 more than I trust this one.

Discussions about the Axis 2 XP .270 Win Left-Hand cover a fairly clear split between what works and what doesn't.
On the positive side: affordability and the included scope are the most-cited reasons buyers choose this rifle. Left-handed shooters appreciate that this is a purpose-built left-hand model rather than an adapted right-hand design. Accuracy straight out of the box is reported as solid, with users achieving good groups without significant load development. The bolt action is described as smooth and easy to operate. The 7.7-lb. weight carries reasonably well in the field.
On the negative side: some buyers feel the stock material and overall fit and finish reflect the price point, with a less refined feel compared to higher-end alternatives. The factory AccuTrigger pull draws occasional criticism from users who wanted a lighter or crisper baseline. The included scope is usable but seen by some as worth upgrading once they've put rounds through the rifle. Recoil with heavier .270 loads runs slightly more than some users expected.
