The Echelon's higher-capacity 4.0FC configuration appeals to owners who want more rounds without moving up to a full-size grip module, and most describe the extra capacity as a meaningful upgrade over compact 9mm options in the same size class. The polymer frame and Adaptive Texture grip get similar praise here as on other Echelon variants, and reviewers generally find the recoil manageable for a duty-style 9mm.

Owners who already run a red dot appreciate that the optic-ready cut and factory Viridian RFX-11 remove a step most competitors leave to the aftermarket. The OD Green Cerakote finish draws mixed reactions: some like the visual departure from all-black duty guns, others prefer black for holster longevity and touch-up availability.

Trigger feel is the most common critique, with some owners wanting a shorter reset, though few call it a problem serious enough to affect their opinion of the pistol overall. The higher-capacity magazine does add a bit of grip length, which most owners consider a fair tradeoff for the extra rounds.
