What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
The 308 is such a satisfying round to shoot because it doesn't have a ton of recoil but it's just enough to let you know that you're holding on to a beast.
The guns also got a 5-pound two-stage trigger which might feel sort of heavy but it's real obvious when it's going to break.
By design has a relatively Stout recoil it's fun to shoot and can actually shoot a pretty practical grouping.
These uh these are just fun to shoot uh The Recoil impulse it is 308 but it's it's very mild.
For iron sights they're great probably one of my favorites actually.
Customers Say

The walnut-stocked M1A Standard draws buyers who want the M14 heritage alongside .308 performance. The classical appearance is frequently mentioned as a purchase motivation, and the combination of walnut and matte black receiver gets positive aesthetic reviews.
Accuracy and reliability match what owners of composite-stocked versions report: consistent performance at range across .308 ammunition types. The rifle's connection to the U.S. military M14 is a consistent talking point and part of the ownership experience for many buyers.
Weight at 9.3 lbs and the cost of .308 ammunition are the most common practical considerations raised. Some walnut-stock owners also note that the wood can be more sensitive to weather than synthetic alternatives, requiring more care in wet conditions.
Overall owner sentiment is positive, with the wood stock adding an element that synthetic-stocked alternatives don't offer.
