Features
The A400 Xtreme Plus is built specifically for tough waterfowl conditions. The 3.5-inch chamber handles heavy steel loads without complaint, and Beretta's Blink gas-operated system cycles reliably in cold and wet weather. The soft comb reduces felt recoil during extended high-volume sessions. The enlarged loading port and oversized bolt release speed up the reload cycle during fast shooting. Drop at heel and drop at comb are both adjustable for fit. Five chokes cover everything from full-pattern close birds to open-choked distance work. Gore Optifade Timber camo is purpose-built for timber and wetland hunting environments.

What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
Pleasantly surprised with the a400 xp the recoil is is pretty minimal.
Little bit of give in it but it's just that soft finish that actually feels really nice up against your face a lot of plastic stocks feel cold and miserable this doesn't.
The trigger safeties I would prefer they be behind I don't like to move my finger forward to come back but it's not too awkward either.
A400 has this kickoff system and i will say that it does soak up the recoil very very well your follow-up shots pretty smooth with this gun recoil is is not a factor.
Cheek piece there was a couple times where i took some skin off my face with this this cheek piece this is a little abrasive.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The A400 Xtreme Plus earns consistent praise for cycling reliably with heavy steel and magnum loads in wet, muddy conditions. The Blink gas system's reputation in waterfowl circles is well-established. Recoil is notably reduced compared to comparable inertia guns, which matters when running multiple boxes of heavy steel. Build quality and materials draw positive remarks; the gun feels purpose-built rather than dressed up.
The main criticisms: at 7.4 lbs it's on the heavier end, which shows up late in a long walk-in hunt. Price is higher than many semi-auto alternatives, which is a genuine tradeoff buyers weigh against its field performance. The gas system requires more thorough cleaning than an inertia design. A small number of buyers note the camo finish shows wear over time.
