The CMMG Dissent is a .350 Legend rifle with a 16.1" barrel and a 1:16" twist rate. It runs a zeroed drop-in single-stage trigger and a cross-bolt safety. At 7.7 lbs and 38.1" overall, it handles well in tighter spaces without giving up much at moderate range. The 10-round magazine keeps things compact. The standard grip is comfortable enough for extended range sessions.
Slightly forward ejecting, soft shooting, an excellent trigger that came in this thing.
I'm just aiming at the berm and hitting exactly where the red dot is I I'm sold early.

Users discussing the CMMG Dissent .350 Legend tend to focus on a few consistent points. The compact size gets mentioned a lot. The 38.1" overall length makes it practical for vehicle carry or brushy terrain, and several deer hunters report clean kills at woods-range distances with the .350 Legend round. Recoil is described as manageable compared to larger centerfire cartridges, which appeals to newer shooters.
Build quality feedback is positive; owners describe it as solid and confidence-inspiring. The modularity gets attention from the customization crowd. MLOK attachment points and compatibility with aftermarket triggers and stocks are commonly noted.
On the critical side, the 10-round magazine limit comes up regularly, especially from users who compared it to AR-pattern rifles in similar calibers. Pricing is a point of contention. Some see it as fair given CMMG's fit and finish, others find it high for the feature set. A few ergonomic gripes surface about the stock geometry, but nothing that dominates the conversation.
