The CVA Cascade Long Range Hunter is a bolt-action rifle chambered in 25 Creedmoor, built around a 24-inch fluted heavy-contour barrel with a threaded muzzle and a Smoked Bronze Cerakote finish. It pairs a steel barreled action with a synthetic stock in Graphite Black with Smoked Bronze webbing, and it feeds from a detachable 4-round magazine.

Owners of the CVA Cascade generally like the value the rifle offers for a bolt-action chambered in a modern long-range cartridge. The fit of the barreled action and the Cerakote finish is usually described as clean for the price point, though some shooters note the trigger and bolt feel need a bit of breaking in before they smooth out.

In the field, the adjustable cheek piece and length-of-pull spacers get praise for letting shooters dial in a comfortable cheek weld and length of pull without buying an aftermarket stock. The synthetic stock keeps the rifle light for carrying on long hunts, though a few owners wish the factory recoil pad did more to soften felt recoil.

Aftermarket support for the Cascade platform is smaller than for the more established bolt-action lines, so parts and accessories can take more searching to find. Even so, the threaded barrel and Picatinny rail give the Long Range Hunter enough flexibility for shooters who want to add a muzzle device or optic without machine work.
