This left-hand Axis XP from Savage Arms chambers 6.5 Creedmoor and pairs a 20-inch sporter-contour carbon steel barrel with a matte black synthetic stock. A detachable box magazine holds four rounds plus one in the chamber, and the muzzle is threaded for a brake or suppressor. Savage mounts and boresights a 3-9x40 scope at the factory so the rifle arrives ready to shoot.

Left-handed shooters often single out the Axis XP for being one of the few budget bolt guns that comes factory-configured for them rather than requiring a special order. Feedback on build quality mirrors the standard Axis line: the action runs smoothly and reliably, though the stock and finish read as basic compared to premium rifles at a higher price point.

In 6.5 Creedmoor, owners generally like the round's manageable recoil and note the rifle handles well for both range sessions and hunting. Some mention the factory scope needs re-zeroing on arrival despite coming boresighted, which is a common complaint across bundled optic packages rather than specific to this rifle.

Value is the recurring theme in this platform's reviews, since a scoped, left-hand bolt gun at this price point is uncommon. Aftermarket parts for the Axis line exist but are less extensive than for more established rifles, so owners planning heavy customization sometimes move on after starting here.
