Detailed Features

The DA/SA action gives a heavier first pull with lighter follow-up shots. Three safety mechanisms are included: firing pin block, loaded chamber indicator, and manual safety. The polymer frame keeps carry weight reasonable for a full-size .45 ACP platform. The 13+1 capacity is notably higher than traditional 1911-pattern .45 pistols.

Owners appreciate the TH45's ergonomics, 13+1 capacity, and price point for a .45 ACP pistol. The comfortable grip and Novak sights get positive mentions. For users who want a full-size .45 ACP at a moderate price, many find it delivers adequately.

Quality control concerns are the most significant negative theme. Some units experience feeding and ejection issues, leading buyers to question consistency between production batches. Trigger feel receives mixed feedback. The DA pull is acceptable for some, but others find it rougher than competing DA/SA designs. Weight and size also come up as drawbacks for those who considered it for carry before deciding it was too heavy.

Overall the TH45 is viewed as a budget-accessible .45 ACP option that works well for many owners but carries some risk of unit-to-unit variation.

Mine ran 200 rounds without a single jam. The pistol shot very well immediately, giving me a smooth and confidence-inspiring first session.
