Description
The Uberti 1848 Third Model Dragoon is a black-powder percussion revolver in .44 caliber, a reproduction of the Colt Third Model Dragoon of 1848. It does not fire cartridges: each of its 6 chambers is loaded from the front with loose powder and a lead ball, and fired by a percussion cap on a nipple at the rear of the cylinder. Like the original, it is a single action, so the hammer is cocked by hand before every shot.
