Detailed Features
The 18-inch barrel makes this the most compact Axis 2 XP variant in the series. 38.5 inches overall and 7.3 lbs., which is notably easier to maneuver in tight blinds or dense woods. The AccuTrigger adjusts pull weight without tools, and the two-position top tang safety locks the bolt and trigger when engaged.
The detachable 4-round box magazine drops free for quick reloads. Integral swivel studs are factory-installed for sling or bipod attachment. The included 3-9x40 scope is mounted and ready; it covers practical deer-hunting distances without requiring a separate optics purchase.
The 1-in-16 twist is matched to .350 Legend projectile weights commonly used for deer hunting in straight-walled cartridge states.
Usage Scenarios
The .350 Legend's low recoil and straight-walled cartridge designation make this a good fit for hunters in Midwestern states with straight-wall restrictions. The short 18-inch barrel and compact overall length help in stands or dense brush. New shooters also benefit from the mild recoil, which keeps fatigue low during range sessions while developing fundamentals.

What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
This is not a super smooth bold action okay it's okay it works pretty good works fine for the purpose deer hunting is not a volume of fire sport.
The only thing I change about this gun is whenever you rack it in the scope kind of get in the way and I really do not like the scope cover for it either that broke pretty instantly.
The trigger itself is adjustable and doesn't come out too bad from the factory.
350 doesn't dump you too much it's pretty soft shooting cartridge so kids younger shooters shorter statured shooters all that sort of thing it's a really good advantage.
Safety's up here on the tang forward is off back is on so it doesn't matter if you're right or left-handed it's very easy to access with your shooting hand thumb.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
Feedback on the Axis 2 XP .350 Legend covers familiar ground for this rifle family.
Accuracy is consistently praised. Most owners report good groups at hunting distances right out of the box, helped by the AccuTrigger, adjusting the pull weight takes minutes and the improvement in consistency is noticeable. The .350 Legend's light recoil is a specific point of appreciation, particularly for hunters new to centerfire rifles.
The included scope gets mixed but mostly practical reviews. Beginners find it adequate for deer-distance work. More experienced shooters often plan to replace it with better glass eventually, though most note it functions well enough as a starting point.
On the critical side, the hardwood stock draws some comments. It looks traditional but the fit and finish don't match what you'd find on pricier rifles. A few users have reported occasional feeding or extraction hiccups, though these appear to be isolated. Some reviewers feel the overall build quality reflects the price tier and wish certain components were more robust.
