The included 3-9x40 scope is mounted and ready to zero, which gets you to the range without additional optics cost.
At 7.3 lbs. with an 18" barrel, the rifle is easy to carry through dense cover. The integral swivel studs handle sling attachment, and the 2-position top tang safety is quick and positive. The detachable box magazine simplifies reloading.
Usage
The .350 Legend is a natural choice for deer hunting, particularly in states with straight-walled cartridge requirements. Recoil is mild, which makes follow-up shots fast and comfortable. The adjustable trigger and included optic also make this a practical range rifle without modification.

What Reviewers Say
Quoted verbatim from YouTube reviews. Each link opens the video at the moment quoted.
This is not a super smooth bold action okay it's okay it works pretty good works fine for the purpose deer hunting is not a volume of fire sport.
The only thing I change about this gun is whenever you rack it in the scope kind of get in the way and I really do not like the scope cover for it either that broke pretty instantly.
The trigger itself is adjustable and doesn't come out too bad from the factory.
350 doesn't dump you too much it's pretty soft shooting cartridge so kids younger shooters shorter statured shooters all that sort of thing it's a really good advantage.
Safety's up here on the tang forward is off back is on so it doesn't matter if you're right or left-handed it's very easy to access with your shooting hand thumb.
Customers Say
AI-generated insights derived from customer reviews and discussions on popular gun-enthusiast forums.
The Axis 2 XP in .350 Legend gets consistent positive feedback around accuracy and price. Most buyers find the factory accuracy adequate for hunting right out of the box, and the included 3-9x40 scope delivers usable results at typical hunting distances without additional cost.
The AccuTrigger is frequently noted as a strong point, adjustable pull weight at this price is an advantage, and shooters appreciate the consistent break. The rifle's weight at 7.3 lbs. with an 18" barrel works well for moving through cover.
On the critical side, some users feel certain components feel less solid than higher-end rifles, which is an understandable trade-off at this price range. The .350 Legend caliber draws mixed opinions from shooters who prefer established rounds like .308 or .30-06, though hunters in straight-wall states tend to view it favorably. Aftermarket support is more limited compared to more popular calibers.
Overall, buyers appreciate what this rifle delivers for the price: solid accuracy, an adjustable trigger, and a bundled scope that makes it hunt-ready without extra work.
