Detailed Features

• Ships with a 3-9x40mm scope pre-mounted, so it is ready to sight in without buying separate glass.
• Feeds from a 4-round detachable box magazine for quick reloads.
• Two-position safety gives simple on and off operation at the range or in the field.
• Textured grip areas on the black synthetic stock help with hold in wet or gloved conditions.
• Compact 18-inch barrel in the straight-wall .350 Legend cartridge keeps the rifle short and easy to maneuver.

Owners of the Axis XP in .350 Legend often pick it for the shorter, handier 18-inch barrel, and most report the action cycles reliably once broken in. As with other Axis-pattern rifles, the synthetic stock draws some criticism for feeling light and a bit hollow, though shooters generally say it does not affect how the rifle actually shoots. The bundled scope is treated as a functional starting optic rather than a long-term choice.

In the field, the shorter barrel and light overall weight make this rifle easy to carry and maneuver in thick cover, which is part of why straight-wall cartridge hunters gravitate toward it. The two-position safety is simple to run under pressure, and the textured grip areas on the stock get positive mentions for keeping hold secure in wet conditions.

On value, owners like getting a chambered, scoped rifle in .350 Legend for one price rather than assembling a rifle and optic separately. As the Axis platform's aftermarket has grown, some buyers plan to upgrade the stock or trigger down the line rather than treating the factory setup as final.
