Detailed Features

The AccuFit system lets shooters adjust comb height and length-of-pull without tools, so fit changes are quick and reversible. The AccuTrigger is user-adjustable for pull weight and has a crisp, consistent break. The AccuStock rail secures the action three-dimensionally along its full length, reducing any movement between stock and receiver during firing.

The heavy barrel uses precision button rifling. Matte black finish on both barrel and receiver. At 10 lbs, this rifle is on the heavier end for a bolt-action varminter, which works in its favor from a bench or prone position but adds up on longer carries.

Usage Scenarios

• Varmint Hunting: The 26-inch heavy barrel and .204 Ruger's flat trajectory are a practical combination for open-field shots at distance.
• Precision/Competition: Consistent trigger and rigid stock system make it repeatable under match conditions.
• Recreational Shooting: AccuFit makes it easy to share across shooters of different sizes.

The Savage 110 Varmint in .204 Ruger gets consistent praise for accuracy, particularly at longer ranges where the cartridge's flat trajectory and low recoil pay off. The AccuTrigger is a frequent highlight. Shooters appreciate the adjustable pull weight and clean break. The AccuFit stock also comes up often as a genuine convenience for fitting the rifle to different body sizes.

Build quality is generally regarded as solid and reliable for field use. The main criticism is weight: at 10 lbs, some users find it tiring to carry during extended hunts, though most accept that as a trade-off for the stability the heavy barrel provides from a rest. Value is widely considered good given that AccuFit and AccuTrigger are both included at this price point.
